FGM General Contractors & Construction are looking for interested parties to bid this project: The contractor shall replace
old carpet with a porcelain wood tile as specified herein. Color and texture of porcelain wood tile shall be as shown in Exhibit A at the end of the specifications. Existing carpeting is glued to concrete slab. The Contractor shall be responsible for removing all carpeting materials and adhesives. The Contractor shall be responsible to move all displays and exhibits to an area designated by the Resource Manager or Administrative Contracting Officer. Contractor shall work around fixed displays such as the 3D/Interactive project display, Still Wildlife Display, and the Fish Aquariums as pictured in Exhibit B at the end of the specifications. The contractor shall remove and dispose of the old carpet cove base moldings and thresholds and replace with new, and ensure that the displays and exhibits are placed back in original location. Work area shall be left
clear of debris after flooring replacement is completed.
