Have a ranch style home with basemeny. don't know what's going on for sure. Bought this house and there's a wood burner in basement. I know it used to work fine. If you burn wood in it now, the basement fills with smoke. In the living room, there is a fireplace but the previous owners put an electrical fireplace insert into the original fireplace. I'm guessing there was a problem that the smoke wasn't properly filtering out of the house. I need to figure this out.
