We have a burning sweet smell coming from a newly installed Trane 4 ton gas pack 14SEER system including new ductwork and ground cover. The unit was installed in Sept of last year. The old unit and ductwork was removed in one day and the new system and ductwork was assembled and installed the next. We immediately began noticing the odor and thought it was the new burning off the system.
