My garage door liftmaster door opener is only opening 3/4 of the way and it stops. It will close again but only open 3/4 of the way 9 out of 10 times. The one time it does open completely is first thing (perhaps when the motor is cool?). It is a liftmaster 2.5 hp, and I don't know how old it is because it came with a house I purchased five years ago. My goal is to repair not replace if possible and financially feasible.
