We had to pull up a portion of carpet durign renovations. Though it was installed again, we still have one thin strip of carpet (maybe 1/2" wide and 8 feet long) that was pulled out and not replaced. We tried laying down carpet glue and replacing the strip, but it really hasn't held and is mostly pulled up.
